Flower Pot Favors

As a bride and groom, you spend months and months planning for your big day and when it finally comes, you can feel like it's over in a moment.

But what if the memory of your wedding could keep growing and growing even after it's all over??

These custom seed pack & matching pot wedding favors we found on Style Me Pretty are such an awesome idea to keep the memory of your special day alive!

Step 1: Put together the design you want to go on your seed packet. Once that is finished, print it on the seed packet template.

Step 2: Fold the packet up and use double sided tape to seal the edges. Leave the top open to put seeds inside. Once the seeds are inserted seal the top edge so those seeds can’t fall out.

Step 3: Decorate your pot.

And you're done (you can find more detailed instructions here)! What do you guys think about this as a wedding favor??

Wedding Gift for Mom

Wedding day is a bride's big day-the day she's dreamed about since she was a little girl. But the bride is not the only one who it's a big day for.

From the time her daughter is a little girl, a mother dreams of the day she will help her daughter into her wedding gown, and the man who will stand beside her. A mother teaches her son to be the perfect man, so that she can one day watch him marry the perfect woman.

While the wedding day is filled with happiness and laughter, there are also those tears of joy that flow as well-trust me, I've done a few of these. These handkerchiefs from Etsy are such thoughtful, adorable gifts for a bride to give to her mother and/or mother-in-law to keep their eyes dry during the day.

How sweet are these?? I'm not sure how I'm going to keep it together when Gabriel or Zachary are walking down the aisle, I already cry at every Mother Son Dance!

Have any of you moms ever gotten anything special from your bride or groom on their wedding day?

Birdseed Heart Favors

One of the best parts about Christmas is the tree, especially when it's all lit up and decorated!

When I picture forests of pine trees I also think of those cute little birds that live in them, which reminded me of this fantastical wedding favor idea I saw on Intimate Weddings.

These birdseed heart favors are just wonderful and can be used as decorations inside the house or placed outside for the birds when your guests get home! They're so easy to make and SO adorable!

In fact, one of our brides used these very favors at her wedding, so we got to see firsthand how awesomesauce these favors are!

How preciously perfect, right? Here is how you can make your very own birdseed favors:

Step 1: Mix the flour, water, gelatin, and corn syrup. Add birdseed and stir well.

Step 2: Press the birdseed mixture firmly into the heart shaped cookie cutter. Make sure you wipe the cookie cutter down with cooking spray so it doesn't stick when it's done!

Step 3: Using a chopstick or skewer, make a hole near the top to thread the twine through.

Step 4: Remove cookie cutter carefully. Let dry for 6-8 hours.

You can find more detailed instructions at Intimate Weddings!

A little bird told me that these favors are to die for. Do you agree?

S'more Love, please!

I think it can be an almost proven fact that everyone craves a good s'more once winter weather roles around (or anytime you want to reminisce about that magical summer at {insert childhood camp name here}), which is why a S'more inspiration board is something that we simply had to create!

Ring, Table Numbers, Cake, Groom, S'more, S'more Love, Stars & Graham Crackers, Dress

The colors are perfect for a winter wedding and your guests will adore all of the marsmallowy-chocolatey-goodness that your favors will provide.

What to do for S'more wedding favors, you ask? Well, we found these adorable s'more wedding favors on Pinterest and fell in love! They are so perfect for guests to take home and make their own treats.

...just in case there wasn't adequate time to do so during the reception (but who are we kidding, there's always room for s'more).

How much would you love "s'more love" when you leave your next wedding??

Creative Candle Uses

Candlelight is super romantical; its a fact. But there are many different uses for candles on your wedding day than to simply "set the mood/tone/whatever."

For instance, candles can be used as centerpieces:

Candles as centerpieces are not only beautiful and elegant, they also give off extra light for an outdoor wedding or a space with dimmed lighting.

Candles can also be used as favors for your guests:

Adorable, right?! Your guests will love this sweet and personal wedding favor. Candle wedding favors come in a variety of designs and many can even be custom made, so you'll be sure to find the perfect fit for your big day.

In addition, candles can be used to light the way:

Not only is this candle lit pathway beautiful, it's also functional!

Candles have so many different purposes on your wedding day that it's almost impossible not to use them.

...and okay, they can still be used to set the mood.

A Week of Unique Treats Finale

When it comes to your wedding favors, I definitely like the idea of something edible. This way, you know your guests can and will use it eat it. This being said, we love the idea of being creative about it and not just do the traditional chocolate gift, even though chocolate is amazing.

I will end the unique treats week with a very unique edible treat that I haven't seen done before, but it's so dang cute!!

Fortune Cookies!! You can leave a fortune for all your guests and personalize it with your names and wedding date. Food and fun, you can't go wrong!

What favors did you use at your wedding? Did your guests love it?

A Week of Unique Treats 4

Part 4 of our unique treats brings me to a favor that one of my clients used. It is absolutely adorable and delicious for your guests! Here it is..

Photography by Lindsey Tropf

Honey!! I really really loved this, and the bride also placed mini photos from their engagement session on each table, you can see it in the top left photo. I think that detail and the tags added such a nice personal touch.

Glenda chose to use local honey, it's delicous, and she supported local business -a win-win-win!

A Week of Unique Treats 3

For part 3 of unique treats week, I would like to feature The Roche Shop. They do all sorts of wedding favors but one in particular that I love is decorative soaps!

They can make them in any shape and for any occasion, and they are really cute! Again, this is a favor that you know your guests can and do actually use!

Aren't they beautiful!!

A Week of Unique Treats 2

A second unique favor that I absolutely LOVE and your guests will too is cotton candy! I like the idea of giving guests something that I know they aren't just going to take home and throw in a box or in the trash.

And it's just fun, don't ya think?!

Just a fair waring to our Florida brides, cotton candy and humity do not get along... so beware!

A Week of Unique Treats

I thought I would follow up my guestbook week with a week filled with unique treats for your guests!

There are so many out there, but I thought I would share with you a few of my favorites that I have come across!

The first has to be one of the cutest I have seen, mini tobasco sauces! I love the ribbons tied on the tops to match the wedding colors!

I have a bride who just used these as her favor and they are seriously adorable, with personalized labels and all!

Unique Wedding Favors

As much as we all love candy, little chocolates, Jordan Almonds or M&M's...  it can get a little boring.

Set a statement with your wedding favors! Try something different and unique like these treats:

Flip Flops in your colors are great for a cute outdoors wedding!

Guestbook Fun

When I stumbled across this, I just knew I had to share it with you guys! Bleu De Toi has come out with this fun and unique way of remembering the guests at your wedding. This guestbook fingerprint tree can become a lovely keepsake to hang on your wall instead of just some book that sits in a box in your attic.

Each woodcut print is hand printed and personalized just for you! The branches are left bare and you can choose the ink colors you want your guests to leave their thumb prints with.

I just love this idea! It's different and cute and fun for all of your guests!

You could even do balloons!! So adorable!
