I am more than excited to be participating in the May Day GIVE.A.WAY!!! I'm going to keep it real with all of you guys... it was a hard choice to pick which fabrics to go with! I decided to lean a little more to the boyland, since my Coin Give-a-way was very girlie... I hope you like what I chose! ;)

I have included 4 fat quarters of each of these darling prints { Lush - moss deer, Lush - paint by number moss camo, Flea Market Fancy green dots, & Joel Dewberry - lime wood grain }.

Swappy - Poo = CRAZY GOOD!!!

It has been more then amazing to watch what fabric's have come out of the woods on my new Flickr group! I have been more then lucky to sign on Kerri to help out with the Admin too... Always nice to bounce ideas off of a friend... we definitely want to keep our { fabric junkies } happy and returning!!! Maybe your looking for Denyse Schmidt’s Flea Market Fancy or Heather Ross' Munki Munki or Lightning Bugs fabrics and your willing to swap your Amy Butler Ginger Bliss stash to get them??? Then this is the group for you! Please put information regarding the exact sizes of your fabrics in the description of the photograph.

Also, please recognize that even though a fabric stash may be rare or OOP, doesn't exactly mean the other member may want to swap their stash for yours... this is a mutual swap { meaning both members must want the other member's fabric}.

Peas and Carrots...

Well it was bound to happen... I have bought so much super good fabric lately, I had to let some go. I decided that I would use my favorite Moda line { Peas and Carrots } charm packs that I've been saving into this yummy rag quilt... I'm a huge fan of rag quilts... the visual and texture components are amazing... Plus you get the classic patchwork design ;) This is currently in my Etsy shop!

Here they are ladies... New additions to my stash family... I could never describe in words just how much these little beauties make me feel {wink, wink}!

Kitschy, Kitschy Quilt...

Just in the nick of time, I finished my Mother-in-laws' quilt for Mother's day! I really loved the way it turned out... with the rick rack detailing and additional stripes on the back :) When oh when... will I have the time for myself???

Well... I'm not going to lie! During this past week of destash give-a-ways and purchases... I have actually grown my stash! Yep... you heard it right!!! I got so excited by the amount of fabric leaving my home... I thought, "Hey... I can get a little more... a little more won't hurt anyone, right???" Five shipping packages later, a trip to one quilt store hidden off the beaten path, and I'm in a worse packing condition then before... But, on a lighter note... I'm super happy and that counts for something, right??? { wink, wink }
