Fiz a sweater e as leggings este fim-de-semana e por terminar tenho uma capa do mesmo tecido de malha estável… Este tom de azul é um dos meus favoritos para o Outono-Inverno, inclusivamente em looks totais nesta cor. Enquanto não acabo a capa, usei o conjunto com este casaco de malha estilo militar, que também tem uns apontamentos em azul. Gostei muito do resultado, crédito devido ao tecido que tem exactamente a quantidade ideal de elasticidade para o efeito que imaginei. Mais tarde publicarei os detalhes de costura no outro blog (entretanto tenho outra coisa para partilhar muito mais interessante lá!).
I made this sweater and matching leggings the past weekend; there’s also a cape made of this same stable knit fabric, but I didn’t have the time to finish it yet. You have to love this shade of blue; I think it’s really great for a total midnight blue look, still, while the cape isn’t finished, I wore it with my red military look cardigan, which also has some midnight blue accents. I really like how this set has turned out, and most of the credits belong to the knit fabric which has just the right amount of stretch for this design to work as I envisioned. I’ll update this entry when I publish the sewing details at my other blog (first I have something much more interesting to show you there!).
