i'm all done with my swap package for the { SavVy } Season swap ( just in the nick of time too!! ). this was a super fun one to make for me!! i just lOVE Ashley's string block tutorial and i think it lent itself to my "Candy Cane" themed table runner perfectly!!

I also finished Mr. Band and Mrs. Algebra Zip Bags!!

now... back to candle making!! You're gonna cry when you see how cute my latest batch came out!! ( okay, that was probably an over statement... ) LOL

funnist day ever!

yes, i know "funnist" isn't a real word, but yesterday it really was in my land!! we had our Yam-Christmas Party and it was amazing... more photo's to come! But, i wanted to finally share what my main gift was to my sister Yam Violet...

we all decided it was very "good" for her gift, that i've had a lot of extra time to hand sew!! hahaha...

i love my boys!

i just love them and want to keep them super safe!! that's why all my boy's will be receiving first aid kits this Christmas using this pattern ( of course! ). i used fusible interfacing to give the zipper bag a firm, clean look that won't leave my men feeling like a bunch of ladies!! hahaha...

and how clever is it when an artist puts together these darling additions for all your projects??... UUUuummm... fantastically clever!!!

really...???

sigh... i felt so much better yesterday. That i sewed a little zippy bag and three sachet bags ( waiting on my lavender supplies to arrive! ) for a friend's Christmas gift and now i feel like sore poop again!

but, what's an addict like myself supposed to do?? It's the holidays damn it and i really want to sew! GGGggrRRrr... i guess it's back to the couch and handwork again ( at least for one more day )... bleh...

and thanks so much for all your well wishes here, texts, FB, and through email! They really brightened up my day... YOU all really are soOOOooo sweet too me!!
