i have been the biggest sucker for Grandmother's Flower Garden quilts for as long as i can remember, but i never wanted to start one for fear i would choose the wrong fabrics... and with all that hand stitching, well... let's just say, i would have been very "put off" not to love the quilt when i was finished! after quite a while it came to me to use Denyse Schmidt's Hope Valley! this is a collection that grew on me over time, but luckily i did grab up the entire line... which i think will lend to the most beautiful garden! this puppy will take some time, but i think she'll be worth it!
i also have been buying some of the most fabulous fabrics lately, but haven't shared them with you all... my bad! i know i'm always hesitant to buy before seeing true pictures of fabric ( not the little shop images ) haha...
here's some heavenly Tammis Keefe prints!
some yummy new Jeneane Morrison prints!
Ooohhh yeah... crocheted flowers ( for those of us that don't crochet!! ) haha...
Tula Pink's Parisville in sprout!
new Munki Munki { bikes on flannel } & Cosmo Cricket!
New Munki Munki { Day of the Dead} !! fierce hugh!!
more delicious Tula Pink's Parisville!!
some fabulous staples!
and this is my new ( travel ) sewing machine! i am very excited about having a cute, little second machine to cart around with me to all my Sweet Hot Yam's houses for play dates! Now to name her... any ideas?? the one i pick.... i'll send a treat to the "namer"! ;)
Have a fabulous Monday my sweets!!!
XO, Heather
